About JUMP-IN™ Products, Inc.

History: Jacquelin Kilburn, President and owner of Occupational Therapy Services, established  JUMP-IN™ Products in 1996. She originally developed and patented a handle for the Wilbarger therapy pressure brush. This brush handle allows the therapist or caregiver the ability to apply correct pressure without discomfort. The pliable handle molds easily to the hand for easy holding and use.   Originally,   JUMP-IN™ started out with four products. It is now an online order catalog that carries over 400 products distributed both in the United States and internationally.

Jackie's Professional Summary:  Jackie Kilburn, an Occupational Therapist, has devoted more than 35 years developing her expertise in the treatment of the pediatric population. Her current professional activities involve her private practice JUMP-IN™  Occupational Therapy Services, serving children and adults, JUMP-IN™  Therapeutic Products, and JUMP-IN™ Continuing Educational Programs. JUMP-IN™  continues to grow with Occupational Therapy Services expanding its staff and anticipating the addition of Physical Therapy.  JUMP-IN™  Products is continuously adding new product lines to its inventory, offering online shopping for your convenience.

Information Bite:  Studies have shown that through the use of the Wilbarger Deep Touch Pressure protocol you can help to reduce cortisol levels. It is hypothesized that this makes serotonin more available to the nervous system without the side effects caused by medications that are serotonin re-uptake inhibitors.  Another way to increase serotonin is to eat more turkey products. Turkey contains tryptophan that converts serotonin. It is likewise theorized that massive quantities of serotonin are also found in the gut. Eating products that can be converted to serotonin facilitates the supply available in the gut.
