Information
Bite:
Studies have shown that through the use of the
Wilbarger Deep Touch Pressure protocol you can help to reduce cortisol
levels. It is hypothesized that this makes serotonin more available to
the nervous system without the side effects caused by medications that
are serotonin re-uptake inhibitors. Another way to increase serotonin is
to eat more turkey products. Turkey contains tryptophan that converts
serotonin. It is likewise theorized that massive quantities of
serotonin are also found in the gut. Eating products that can be
converted to serotonin facilitates the supply available in the gut.
