Camp JUMP-IN™ is an intensive two week day camp focusing on children with developmental needs in areas such a social skills, motor, adaptive and self-care skills; also, needs relating to speech, sensory processing and sensory integration. Campers’ activities involve the use of suspended equipment, gross motor activities, fine motor activities, social interaction, brain gym, language, body work, therapeutic listening, and swimming. 

Camp is limited to eight campers.  To assure a position, a $500.00 deposit is required and is due by May 31, 2008.  The deposit will be applied toward the  camp tuition, which is due in full two weeks prior to the beginning of camp.  Camp is open to children ages 4-14.

Camp JUMP-IN™ 2007 was great and our campers, parents, and therapists had a marvelous time.  Not only did everyone learn a lot, there was much fun to be had.  Even though there were a number of toasty days, at the end of each camp day everyone was rewarded with a nice cool dip in the pool.       

Our program stands above other summer programs in that we focus on intensive foundation skills as opposed to “just  play”. We utilize a 3 hour concentrated block to accomplish our therapy goals.  Additionally, our program incorporates the active involvement of at least one parent with the purpose of training them to be able to reinforce their child’s therapy at home, further enhancing their success rate.  Combining this with the training/work experience that a student volunteer receives throughout camp makes our summer program unique.  

Campers new to JUMP-IN™ need a screening evaluation at JUMP-IN™ prior to camp.  Schedule your evaluation early so you can begin you home program so your child can receive maximum benefits at camp.
